Our annual competition for State Senior Schools. We run two streams: one for Years 7 to 9, the other for Years 10 to 13. The competition is named after South Hampstead’s former Headmistress, Vicky Bingham, who oversaw the creation of Debate Hub.

Debating is arguably the most important co-curricular activity a school can offer. It teaches pupils to enjoy winning arguments, to listen to others’ ideas and, above all, it breeds confidence.
